 Helpful IT Tips

Have you heard of Quishing?

Quishing involves the use of manipulated or fake QR codes by hackers to carry out fraudulent activities, such as stealing personal information and spreading malware.

Hackers replace QR codes with their own QR sticker over the valid code and use them to lure people to websites that can steal personal information.

Tips to prevent QR code scam:

  • Do not give personal information after scanning

  • Decide whether the QR code is necessary to use

  • Double check the URL after opening a webpage from a QR code

  • If you scan a QR code and it redirects you to another page not related to activity, exit the page immediately

  • Turn off the QR scanning feature on phone to avoid accidental scans

Welcome to Mack Manor

Laura Mack | VP Corporate Systems/ MIS, ATMH | Elk Grove Village, IL

This display of lights and holiday magic is one of Laura’s many hobbies. Started over 27 years ago, Mack Manor is a drive-through, holiday-themed attraction hosted at the Mack residence.

What began with “lights in the window and 2 candles at the end of the driveway", Mack Manor has grown into a holiday past-time that many return to enjoy every year. Inspired to create a display that allows visitors to take a bit of holiday spirit home with them,

Laura says, "When you leave, you will believe.”

Due to the amount of time and dedication needs of this project, the Macks will only feature their Christmas display in 2024. Stop by Mack Manor's 2024 Christmas display and share in the holiday spirit!
