Luck of the Lifts
This year, the Milwaukee Irish Fest found a new way to transport the gold to the end of the rainbow, thanks to Lead Shop Technician Noah Janowski! 🌈
"For the last three years, I have volunteered at Milwaukee's Irish Fest. A large majority of all the labor to run the 4-day festival and all the behind-the-scenes work is volunteer. Friends brought me along one year and I had such a good time I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. My friend started claiming a more important role and spending countless hours all year long working in the warehouse and I got to know personnel high up in the ranks.
In 2023 I put eyes on the material handling equipment they were renting and informed them the equipment was wrong for what they were doing. I suggested they reach out to Atlas Badger to see what we can do for them and told them what they should be asking for.
This year, in 2024 Milwaukee Irish Fest rented three 8FGC25 pneumatic LP forklifts from us and they could not have been happier to now be working with Atlas Badger!!"
"I wanted to drop you a note thanking you for the excellent service we received from Atlas Badger Toyota Lift Rental.
We contacted your company in Spring 2024 to inquire about availability for forklifts in August. Our contact, Sandy Hotz was knowledgeable and helpful in letting us know the types and prices for the rentals Irish Fest considered for this year's festival. She also assured us that availability would not be a problem. As the festival approached she also assisted us in setting up an account to simplify the rental process. The setup process was complete by the time of rental. Sandy was very responsive when we contacted her, never failing to return calls or answer our questions.
The three Toyota lifts Model 8FGU25 arrived at the festival grounds exactly as we requested and were ready for use on August 8. The lifts were all new and operated very smoothly. One feature that impressed us greatly--the propane rack that pivoted away from the lift when changing tanks. We appreciated the ergonomic benefit of this feature. The operators also enjoyed the ability to make many adjustments to the operator's seat position. Another good feature is the switch that levelled the forks when they were in a tilted position.
CelticMKE also appreciates the fact that we received a discount for our rentals. Logistics is a large part of our festival budget and this discount helped a great deal in keeping our costs within budget." - Greg Baran, Warehouse Operations
Congratulations, Badger!

Helpful IT Tips
The scammers are winning!
Sophisticated overseas criminals are stealing tens of billions of dollars from Americans every year, a crime wave projected to get worse as the U.S. population ages, and technology like AI makes it easier than ever to perpetrate fraud and get away with it.
Internet and telephone scams have grown exponentially, overwhelming police and prosecutors who catch and convict relatively few of the perpetrators.
Victims rarely get their money back, including older people who have lost life savings to romance scams, grandparent scams, technical support fraud and other common grifts.
Four Basic Signs of a Scam
Scammers pretend to be from an agency or organization you know to gain your trust.
Scammers say there is a problem or a prize.
Scammers pressure you to act immediately.
Scammers tell you to pay in a specific way.
Known Scammer Tactics
Threaten you with arrest or legal action because you don’t agree to pay money immediately.
Suspend your Social Security number.
Claim to need personal information or payment to activate a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) or other benefit increase.
Pressure you to take immediate action, including sharing personal information.
Ask you to pay with gift cards, prepaid debit cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or by mailing cash.
Threaten to seize your bank account.
Offer to move your money to a “protected” bank account.
Demand secrecy.
Direct message you on social media.
How to Avoid a Scam
Remain calm. If you receive a communication that causes a strong emotional response, take a deep breath. Talk to someone you trust.
Hang up or ignore the message. Do not click on links or attachments.
Protect your money. Scammers will insist that you pay with a gift card, prepaid debit card, cryptocurrency, wire transfer, money transfer, or by mailing cash. Scammers use these forms of payment because they are hard to trace.
Protect your personal information. Be cautious of any contact claiming to be from a government agency or law enforcement telling you about a problem you don’t recognize, even if the caller has some of your personal information.
Spread the word to protect your community from scammers.
Report the scam to the Office of the Inspector General at oig.ssa.gov/report.

The Par-Tee Crew
Jeffrey Fairbanks | Shop Technician, ATMH | Brooklyn Park, MN
What if your next team-building exercise was as simple as playing 18 holes? ⛳
Jeffrey's journey into golf began at a work event, where he discovered the enjoyment of the game and a newfound appreciation for the mental fortitude it requires.
After joining Atlas at the beginning of the year, Jeffrey found like-minded coworkers eager to hit the greens. What started as a small group has now blossomed into a vibrant weekly tradition, gathering technicians, drivers, and management together after work to hit the course! It’s more than just a game; it’s a wonderful opportunity for team bonding and relaxation after a busy week.
We applaud Jeffrey's dedication to golf and how he’s helped foster a sense of community here at Atlas. Now, this lively crew gathers to share laughs over good shots and even better stories, making Thursday the highlight of the week.
Whether it's mastering a swing or laughing off a duffed shot, our team's camaraderie continues to grow both on and off the course! 🏌🏼♂️
